Over 60 dental specialists discuss different aspects of advanced guided implant surgery

More than 60 specialist dental surgeons from the Tricity, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh participated in a day-long workshop on ‘Advanced Guided Implant Surgery’ organised at Panchkula on Sunday. The programme focused on the latest advancements in digital guided implantology, featuring expert lectures, live clinical demonstrations and intensive hands-on training.

Renowned implantologist and academician Dr Hemant Mathur led the scientific sessions, familiarising participants with advanced concepts and protocols in digital guided implant surgery. The workshop aimed to help practitioners adopt digital workflows for delivering safer, more precise and predictable implant treatments.

Welcoming the delegates, President of PDPA, the organizing body of the event, Dr Rajat Dang thanked participants for their enthusiastic response and said the strong turnout reflected the dental fraternity’s commitment to continuous learning and the adoption of evidence-based, technology-driven treatment protocols for improved patient care.

PDPA President-Elect and Conference Head Dr Anubhav Naresh said guided implant surgery has become one of the most significant advancements in modern implant dentistry by improving precision, enhancing patient safety, reducing surgical time and increasing treatment predictability.

He added that the workshop was designed to bridge the gap between digital planning and clinical execution, enabling practitioners to confidently integrate advanced digital workflows into their routine practice.
